Wednesday 7:30-8:30pm, Every 2nd Wednesday~ Grief Yoga® and Support in East Cobb @ Gruvn Yoga. Voted best of 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025! Everyone experiences loss in their lives, and grief is common feeling we all share. It may be the death of a loved one or pet. It might be a relationship coming to an end or loss of a job or a dream. Loss is loss, and you can carry that energetic weight in your body. Moving your physical body through gentle shapes and shifting that energy inside is one of the best ways to process grief. This grief yoga class offers a supportive, compassionate practice to allow the pain of grief and loss to move through your body and allows each person space (in their time) to remember with more love than pain. This practice is for all bodies and can be done on a mat or a chair, in any comfortable clothes.

Relaxing and restful on the surface, restorative is a therapeutic, nervous system down regulation practice that supports spaciousness in the body and mind. Whether you take restorative yoga for therapeutic purposes or as a rejuvenating compliment to your challenge classes, restorative yoga calms the overactive nervous system. Props are used to support the body fully, with no strain or tension, as the poses are held for longer lengths of time.
