Rise. A Healing Offering. Resilience. Invitational. Support. Empowerment.
Grief hurts. Grief is exhausting. Grief lives in the body as an unwanted guest we don't want to let in the door. Navigating loss is scary. There is no way around it...just gently moving through it. You are invited to an all levels class, which can be performed from a chair or mat. This healing opportunity is for anyone who has been suffering from a recent loss or one that has happened long ago. Loss is not limited to the passing of a loved one. Individuals suffering from the loss of a pet, a relationship, a miscarriage, a divorce, a job or any other transition is welcome in this space.
The mission of Rise is to be of service to people in struggle. To help normalize this human experience we all have. You will use yoga, movement, breath and sound to move through pain and struggle. This makes room for empowerment, while remembering with more love.
During your class experience, you are encouraged to take care of yourself. Resting at any point, adjusting or varying movements are welcoming options to support you in this space.

"In time and with help- even after the most devastating losses, we grow around our wounds and we can experience the sweetness of peace, and remember with more love than pain."
