You're invited to join me in this educational and experiential workshop to explore the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, takes the practitioner on an awareness journey into different states of consciousness.
This allows the body to receive sleep, dreaming and deep healing. This journey is one of looking inward, with as little effort as possible. The practitioner’s goal is to stay awake, while the body falls asleep.
You will learn more about the layers of yourself, known in yoga as the Koshas, along with the stages of deep rest. Then you will be guided through the Koshas during the Nidra practice.
You will bring your awareness to the physical body, acknowledge your breath, you notice thought awareness, you will observe and be the witness. Eventually, you arrive into pure being - also known as releasing into bliss.
Yoga Nidra allows the practitioner to feel and observe their entire being. It allows for deep physical, emotional and nervous system rest.
